The Community Sourdough Academy beta opens May 28. Here's what we're building, why your feedback matters, and how to get early access.
In two weeks, on May 28, we are opening the doors to something we have been quietly building for over a year. The Community Sourdough Academy is entering beta โ and we are not doing it quietly anymore. We need bakers, beginners, obsessives, and the sourdough-curious to come break things with us.
This is not a polished, finished product. It is a living, breathing platform with real courses, real instructors, real community features, and yes โ real bugs. That is the point. We want to build this WITH the community, not just for it. Your feedback during beta will directly shape what CSA becomes.
So what is actually in the beta? You will get access to our full starter kit โ a guided path from zero knowledge to your first confident loaf. You will be able to enroll in foundational courses covering hydration, fermentation timing, scoring, and shaping. You will get a personal dashboard to track your progress, log your bakes with photos and notes, and earn certificates as you complete modules.
The community features are what excite me most. A forum where you can post crumb shots and get feedback from instructors. A leaderboard that celebrates consistency, not just perfection. A referral program so you can bring friends along and earn rewards. And a bake log system that turns your kitchen experiments into a searchable history of lessons learned.
We are also testing our full payment and enrollment pipeline during beta, including Stripe checkout, PayPal support, and our workshop registration system. If you run into any issues there, we want to hear about it immediately. Smooth enrollment is make-or-break for us.
